Two areas of Technology that interest me

Cyber crime is a huge interest for me. Criminals can use the internet better then some experts! Cyber crime has been taken to new levels, no longer satisfied with a simple hacking job they strive to find new ways to use the internet. Gangs of criminals use latest technology to hack into peoples lives and steal. There have been quite a few cases recently of laptops and computer files been stolen from high street banks and even websites such as hotmail. This led to a leak out of peoples address's and personal details including financial.

Recently on social networking systems such as facebook viruses, spam and hacking have reached an all time high! In Facebook's quarterly virus report it says that 'Hackers take advantage of the PC vulnerability by booby-trapping websites with a malicious code that loads on to computers'. Millions of dollars and money all over the world has been stolen from everyday computer. all the stolen money goes straight into a mules account.

Another topic of interest in tchnology is cyber-bulying! Mostly through social netwoking sites and mobiles a new era of bullying has emerged. Most teenagers are effected by it. Videos emerge on U TUBE of fights or school plays, humiliating the people involved. For an image conscious teenager these images on the net and vidoes are the ultimate worst nitemare. Bullying and exclusion on networking sites are very common. Simple things liek how many friends and views a person has can lead to a rift and result in a injured party.

Cyberbullying is a new problem facing 'one in three' teenagers compared to ten years ago when cyber-bullying hadn't surfaced. There was no oppertunity for it. It seems the more advanced we become the more ways we invent to hurt each other! bullyin ranges from prank phone calls to gangs of networking friends, most of which are girls, who tease and 'bitch' about each other!Sites such as facebook and bebo have been banned from school and colege to help this growing epidemic
